Available Position: Research Assistant Professor

Design and conduct experiments in bioinorganic chemistry with focuses on aqueous speciation of hydrolysis-prone metal ions in the presence of avid binding ligands, and on the interactions of these ligands and complexes with metal oxide materials. Assist the group leader in advising graduate and undergraduate students, preparing proposals and publications, and managing activities related to the execution of research grants.

PhD in inorganic or bioinorganic chemistry with at least five years of working experience in synthetic chemistry, aqueous solution speciation of metal ions, and/or kinetics in solution.
