The group attended the 6th Mid-Atlantic Seaboard Inorganic Symposium, or MASIS, which was hosted by the University of Pennsylvania. The talks started off with Kayleigh Jones, who presented on her research about the interactions of Ti(IV) with the siderophore, DFOB. She was even tweeted by the Schelter group! Also representing Temple by hosting a talk were Ian McKendry (Zdilla lab) and Joe Becica (Dobereiner lab). We are very proud of the great turnout from Temple in both talks and poster presentations!

We couldn’t ask for a better lab outing than rooting for the home team on a beautiful summer evening! We saw several home runs and ate several buckets of crab fries in a Phillies victory over the Atlanta Braves.
